ቐዳማይ ክፋል

Part 1

ኣቦዋት ክምስሉን፣ ‘‘ጥፍኣ ዝበለን ሓሩጭ፣ ምስ ንፋስ ይቃለሳ‘‘ ይብሉ ነበሩ።

The ancestors used to say, ‘‘The  tef flour that is lost, struggles with the wind

ኣብ’ዘን ዝሓለፋ ሰሙናት ክንርእዮ ዝጸናሕና ዕንደራ (blunder)’ዉን ምስዛ ምስላ ኣቦታት ትርዕም’ያ።

The blunder we’ve been seeing in recent weeks also fits this ancestral proverb.

ብዙሕ ዘስደምም ዘረባ ሰሚዕና። ብዙሕ ዘየስደምም ዘረባ’ዉን ሰሚዕና።

We heard a lot of surprising talk.  We also heard a lot of unsurprising talk.

በቲ ኮይኑ በቲ ግን፣ ንስለ ንጹርነትን ታሪኻዊ ሰነድን፣ ንዕሸላት ብናይ ዕሸላት ዘይኮነ ብዘየዳግም ‘‘ሓቂ‘‘ ክንምልሰሎም ኢና።

Nevertheless, for the sake of clarity (without repetition) and historical documentation, we will answer babies with irrevocable “truth” and not with babies.

ኣብ ሰዓታት ናይ ቀትሪ 25 መጋቢት 2021’ዩ፣ ንቀ/ሚ ዶ/ ኣቢ ኣሕመድ ዓሊን ዶ/ ያዴታን ዶ/ ኣብርሃም በላይን ዝሓዘት ነፋሪት መንገዲ ኣየር ኢትዮጲያ ኣብ መዓልቦ ነፈርቲ ኣስመራ ዓለበት።

It was in the afternoon hours of March 25, 2021, that an Ethiopian Airlines flight carrying PM Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali, Dr. Yadeta and Dr. Abraham Belay landed at Asmara airport.

ብቐጥታ ካብ ኣዲስ ኣበባ ንዝነቐሉ ላዕለዎት መራሕቲ ኢትዮጲያ ንምቕባል፣ ፕ/ት ኢሰያስ ኣፎርቂ ዝርከቦም ላዕለዎት መራሕቲ መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ኣብ መዓልቦ ነፈርቲ ኣስመራ ተረኽቡ።

President Isaias received and welcomed the top Ethiopian leaders from Addis Ababa at the Asmara Airport

እዋኑ መራሕቲ ወያነ ካብ በረኻታት ተምቤንን ጫቃታት ተከዘን ተበጊሶም ኣብ ልዕሊ ሰራዊት ፈደራል መጠነ ሰፊሕ መጥቃዕቲ ከፊቶም ብምንባሮም፣ መንግስቲ ኢትዮጲያ ኣብ ሸበድበድ’ዩ ኔሩ ክበሃል ይከኣል።

At the time, the TPLF leaders had launched a massive offensive against the federal army from the Tembien deserts and Tekeze forests.

 ኣቐዲሙ ዶ/ ኣቢ ኣሕመድ ዓሊ ምስ ኣዘዝቲ ሰራዊት ኤርትራ ዝነበሮ ናይ ሓበሬታ መስመር ዕሽሽ ብምባል፣ ሰራዊቱ ካብ ክልል ትግራይ ኣብ 4 እብረ መዲቡ ከዉጽእ ወሲኑ፣ 3 እብረ ድሕሪ ምዉጽኡ፣ ኣብ 4ይ እብረ ብዕጡቓት ወያነ መላሲ ኣዉያት ዘይብሉ ጸረ መጥቃዕቲ ተፈንይሉ ተበታተነ።

Earlier, Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali ignored his line of communication with the Eritrean army commanders and decided to withdraw his troops from Tigray Region in 4 shifts.

 ቀ/ሚ ኣብ ሻቕሎት ተሸሚሙ ብምንባሩ፣ እቲ ዑደት ኣዝዩ ኣገዳሲ’ዩ ኔሩ ክበሃል ይከኣል።

The visit was very important as the prime minister was worried.

ድሒሩ ፕ/ት ኢሰያስ ኣፎርቂ ብዛዕባ’ቲ ፍጻመ ክትንትን እንከሎ፣ ከም ፍጻመ “tactical setback‘‘ ብምባል ገሊጹዋ ሓለፈ።

Later, President Isaias Afewerki analyzed the incident, describing it as a “tactical setback‘‘.

ብፖለቲካዊ ዓይኒ ግን፣ 1ይቲ ጥልመት መንግስቲ ኢትዮጲያ ምንባራ ብዙሓት ኤርትራዊያን ይሰማምዑ።

Politically, however, many Eritreans agree that it was the 1st betrayal of the Ethiopian government.

 ሰራዊት ኤርትራ፣ ነቲ ብመንግስቲ ፈደራል ዝተወስደ ዕሸላዊ ዉሳነ ተጻዊሩ፣ ሓይልታቱ ናብ ዝጥዕሞ ገዛእቲ ቦታታት ክስሕብ ተገደደ።

The Eritrean army, enduring the infantile decision by the federal government, was forced to withdraw its forces to the occupied areas of its choice.

ዉሳነታት ቀ/ሚ ዶ/ ኣቢ ኣሕመድ ዓሊ ኣብ ሂወት ሰባት’ዉን ከቢድ ሓደጋ ዝፈጥር ምንባሩ ኣነጺሩ’ዩ።

He also ( i.e., Isaias) made it clear that the decisions of the PM were seriously dangerous to people’s lives.

 ግን ድማ ኣብ ዝምድና ክልቲኣቶም ህዝብታት ሽግር ክፍጠር ይድለ ብዘይምንባሩ፣ ነገር ምግፍፋሕ ኣይተደልየን።

But there was no desire to cause trouble in the relations between the two peoples.

ቀ/ሚ ናብ ኣስመራ ብህጹጽ ክመጽእ እንከሎ እምበኣር፣ 2 ዓበይቲ ኣጀንዳታት ሒዙ’ዩ ኣስመራ ተራእዩ፥ (ሀ) ነቲ ብገዛእ ርእሱ ዝወሰዶ ስልታዊ ጌጋ ንምሽፋን (ሕጋዉነት ንምልባስ)፣ (ለ) ደገፍ መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ንዘይምኽሳር (military support)።

When the PM came to Asmara in a hurry, therefore, he appeared in Asmara with 2 major agendas: (a) to cover up (legitimize) his own strategic mistake, and (b) not to lose the support of the Eritrean government (military support).

ኣብ ከምዚ ዝበለ ኩነታት ኣዘዝቲ ሰራዊት ወያነ፣ ሰራዊት ፈደራል ጭርኡ ዶጊሉ ክሃድም ድሕሪ ምርኣዮም፣ ብወገን ግንባር ራያ ጸረ መጥቃዕቲ ብምኽፋት ንፋልማይ እዋን ናብ ክልል ኣምሓራ ኣተዉ።

In such a situation, the TPLF commanders, seeing the federal army running its tail and fleeing, launched a counter-attack on the Raya front and entered Amhara region for the first time.

ንኹሉ ናይ ሰላም ኣማራጺታት ብምሕሳም ‘‘ምስ መን ኢና’ኸ  እንዛተ?‘‘ ዝብል መደረ ከስምዑ ጀመሩ።

They rejected all peace options and began to make speeches like ‘‘Who are we going to negotiate with?’’.

ኣዘዝቲ ሰራዊት ኤርትራ’ዉን ከምዚ ዝኣመሰለ ዕንደራ (blunder) ከም ዝመጽእ ኣይሰሓትዎን።

The commanders of the Eritrean army did not doubt that such a blunder would come.

ቀ/ሚ ንስለ ጸቢብ ረብሓታቱ ከዕግብ፣ ዕሸላዊ ዉሳነታት ክወስድ ጀሚሩ ምህላዉ ገምገሙ። መሬት ኤርትራ ንምክልኻል ጥራይ ዘኽእል ዉጥናት ሓንጸጹ።

They assessed that the PM has started making infantile decisions to satisfy his narrow interests.  They devised plans that would only allow for the defense of Eritrean territory.

ኣዘዝቲ ሰራዊት ወያነ ኣብዚ ከይተዓግቱ ንሸነኽ ምብራቕ ብምጥማት ናብ ክልል ዓፋር ኣተዉ።

The TPLF commanders did not stop here and looked east and entered the Afar region.

ብዕሊ ድማ ንከተማ ኣዲስ ኣበባ ክሕዙ ከም ዝተበገሱ ቅሉዕ ኣዋጅ ኣወጁ።

They officially declared that they were going to occupy the city of Addis Ababa.

ካብ’ዚ ጀሚሩ፣ ዶ/ ኣቢ ኣሕመድ ዓሊ ምስ መራሕቲ ወያነ ዝርርብ ክገብር ድሉዉ ሙዃኑ ክገልጽ ጀመረ።

From here, Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali began to express his readiness for talks with the TPLF leaders.

 ንኹሉ ዝርርባት ብምስጢር ክሕዝ’ኳ እንተሃቀነ፣ ስለያታት ሻዕብያ ነቲ ሕቡእ ዝርርብ ኣቐዲሞም ፈለጥዎ።

Although he intended to keep all conversations secret, Shaabia intelligence knew about the secret conversation in advance

ን’2 መድረኻት ኣብ ጅቡቲ ናይ ጥልመት ዝርርብ ገበሩ።

Twice they held treasonous talks in Djibouti

 እቲ ዝገርም ግን፣ ቀ/ሚ ነቲ ኣብ ትግራይ ዝተወልዐ ኩናት ብስልሕም ኣቐዲሙ ወጢንዎ ምንባሩን ምዕዶታት መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ዕሽሽ ክብል መሪጹ ዝነበረ ሰብ’ዩ።

Ironically, the PM had planned the war in Tigray in advance and chose to ignore the advice of the Eritrean government

(PUTTING THE BLAME ON ABIY)

እምበኣርከስ ናይ’ዚ ዕሸል ጌጋታት ብንጹር ንምቕማጥ፥

መንግስቲ ኤርትራ፣ ካብ 2018 ኣትሒዙ፣ መንግስቲ ኢትዮጲያ ነቲ ምስ መራሕቲ ወያነ ዝነበሮ ምስሕሓብ ብሰላማዊ መንገዲ ክፈትሖ ካብ ምምዓድ ዓዲ ኣይወዓለን።

So to put this infant’s mistakes clearly:

 The Eritrean government, since 2018, has continued to advise the Ethiopian government to resolve its conflict with the TPLF leaders peacefully

(NB Reinventing history. 1984 speak)

ኣብ ዝተፈላለዩ መድረኻት፣ ፕ/ት ኢሰያስ ኣፎርቂ ኣብ ክልል ትግራይ ኩናት ክህሉ ከም ዘይብሉ ንቀ/ሚ ኢትዮጲያ ብግልጺ ነጊሩዎ’ዩ።

On various occasions, PM Isaiah Afewerki has made it clear to the PM that there should be no war in Tigray Region.

(NB THIS IS WHERE THE EPISODE OF PRESIDENT ISAIAS HOLDING HANDS WITH DEBRETSION IS RECAST )

 ንመራሕቲ ወያነ’ዉን ኣብ ህድኣት ክዓስሉ ካብ ምምካር ቦኺሩ ኣይፈልጥን።

He ( President Isaias Afewerki) never failed to advise the TPLF leaders to remain calm.

 ምስ ፕ/ት ትግራይ ነበር ዶ/ ደብረጼን ኣብ ዝተገብረ ርክብ’ዉን፣ ፕ/ት ኢሰያስ ኣፎርቂ፣ ኣብ ዞባና ግጭት ከም ዘየድሊ ብግልጺ ምዒዱ’ዩ።

In a meeting with former Tigray President Dr. Debretsiyon, he also explicitly advised that there is no need for conflict in the region.

ቀ/ሚ ኣብ ደቡብ ኣፍሪቃ ኣብ ዝገበሮ ዝርርብ ሰላም፣ ንኤርትራ ከም ጠንቂ ናይ’ቲ ግጭት ጌሩ ንምቕራብ ኩሉ ዓይነት ሞጎተታት ጌሩ’ዩ።

During his (PM ABIY) peace talks in South Africa, the prime minister made all kinds of arguments to blame Eritrea for the conflict.

ብመሰረቱ’ዉን ኤርትራ ኣብቲ ዝርርብ ሰላም ንዘይምቕራብ’ዩ ተጓይዩ።

Basically he (PM ABIY) made sure  Eritrea was not part of the peace talks.

 ብቐንዱ፣ ቀ/ሚ ኣብ መንጎ መራሕቲ ኤርትራን ትግራይን ዝኾነ ይኹን ዝርርብ (ምርድዳእ) ንኸይህሉ፣ ኩሉ ዓይነት ህቀናታት ኣካይዱ።

Mainly, the PM made all sorts of attempts to prevent any dialogue (understanding) between the leaders of Eritrea and Tigray.

መራሕቲ ክልል ኣምሓራ ኣብ’ቲ ዝርርብ ንኸይዉከሉ፣ ናይ ጻቕጣያት ጸወታ ብቕሉዕ ኣተግቢሩዎ’ዩ።

He openly implemented a game of pressure to prevent the Amhara leaders from being represented in the talks.

ነዚ ንምዕራይን ዘላቒ ሰላም ንኽመጽእ፣ ንኹሎም ወገናት ዘሳተፈ ዝርርብ ሰላም ክግበር ንዝቐረበሉ ጠለብ ድማ፣ ፍጹም ከም ዘይቅበሎ ብዕሊ ኣፍለጠ።

He publicly rejected the demand for inclusive peace talks to remedy this and bring about a lasting peace.

ኣብ ክልል ኣምሓራ ግጭት ከሳዉር ድሕሪ ምጅማሩ፣ ቀ/ሚ ካብ መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ወተሃደራዊ ሓገዝ ክሓትት ሕንኽ ኣይበለን።

After the conflict began to escalate in Amhara region, the prime minister did not hesitate to seek military assistance from the Eritrean government.

መንግስቲ ኤርትራ፣ ነቲ መጸዋዕታ ብትሪ ብምቁዋም፣ ኣብ ክልል ኣምሓራ ኩናት ከም ዘየድልን፣ መንግስቲ ፈደራል ነቲ ምትፍናን የጓሃህሮ ምህሃዉ ግልጺ መጠንቀቕታ ሃበ።

The Eritrean government strongly opposed the  and warned that there was no need for war in Amhara Region and that the federal government was exacerbating the conflict.

እንተኾነ ቀ/ሚ ካብ ዝሓለፈ ዕንወት ከይተማህረ፣ ኣብ ክልል ኣምሓራ ሓድሽ ኩናት ከሳዉር ምርጫ ወሰደ።

However, the prime minister did not learn from the past destruction and chose to wage a new war in Amhara Region.

ኣብዚ ንጹር ክኸዉን ዘለዎ ነገር እንተሃልዩ፣ መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ኣብ መንጎ መራሕቲ ክልል ኣምሓራን ትግራይን ቀጥታዊ ዝርርብ ክግበር ካብ ምምዓድ ዓዲ ዉዒሉ ኣይፈልጥን።

It should be clear here that the Eritrean government has never failed to advise direct dialogue between the leaders of Amhara and Tigray regions.

(NB INTERESTING COMING FROM ONE WHO REFUSED ANY DISLOGUE RE THE BORDER FOR 30+ YEARS)

በንጻር’ዚ ቀ/ሚ ስምን ምስልን መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ንምብላል፣ ‘‘ኤርትራ ንዉዕል ፕሪቶርያ ትዕንቅፍ ኣላ‘‘ ዝብል ናይ ወቕዒ ፕሮፖጋንዳ ንመንግስታት ኣሜሪካን ኤዉሮጳን ክህብ ጸኒሑን ኣሎን።

On the other hand, the PM has been giving offensive propaganda to the US and European governments that ‘‘Eritrea is undermining the Pretoria Agreement’’ to tarnish the name and image of the Eritrean government.

 እንተኾነ ቀ/ሚ ንስምምዕ ፕሪቶሪያ ጥሒሱ፣ ኣብ መንጎ ህዝብታት ትግራይን ኣምሓራን ዘይበሊ ጽልኢ ንምስዋር ክሰርሕ ምጽንሑ ናይ ዕዳጋ ምስጢር’ዩ።

However, it is a an open secret that the PM is violating the Pretoria agreement and working to hide the unquenchable hatred between the peoples of Tigray and Amhara.

(NB  in this text the writer is using the word ንምስዋር –  hide. It is an Amharic word. The Tigrinya word is ተሓባእ, hid – ተሓቢኡ)

ኣብዚ ከይተዓግተ፣ ኣብ ምንጎ መራሕቲ ኤርትራን ትግራይን ዝኾነ ዓይነት ናይ ሰላም መንገዲ ንኸይህሉ ብቓልዕ ክንቀሳቐስ ጸኒሑ’ሎ።  😱😱😱

Without being stopped here, he has been openly working to prevent any peace process between the leaders of Eritrea and Tigray.😱😱😱😱

ነዚ ዕሸላዊ ኣካይዳ ዝሓረየሉ ምኽንያት’ዉን፣ ካብ’ቲ ጸቢብ ናይ ‘‘ኦሮሞ ስልጣን ከዉሕስ፣ ህዝቢ ሰሜን ክባላዕ ኣለዎ‘‘ ዝብል ዝንቡዕ ዉጡኑ’ዩ። 😱😱😱😱

He chose this infantile approach because of his narrow plan of ‘‘to secure Oromo power, the people of the north must be eaten’‘.😱😱😱😱
