The story of how my “Thank You” NHS and other key workers came about.
It began with an antique badge was from the 1918 Spanish flu pandemics, produced in the USA.
I thought: why don’t we do one in the UK, to support our marvelous essential staff, who kept us going through the pandemic.
So I found a rainbow hanging on a tree at Eleanor Palmer school and used their image.
I came up with a rough draft, which was then superbly interpreted by Anne Odling-Smee, of Design Science.
And they came up with the final design, which were then distributed in Camden and far beyond.
