📍 Sources from the area report that repeated drone strikes were carried out this morning in Raya Alamata district, Tigray Region.

🕗 According to the sources, the strikes took place today, 10 August 2026, at around 8:00 a.m. (Ethiopian calendar: Nehase 4, 2018, at approximately 2:00 a.m. local Ethiopian time).

🎯 The strikes reportedly took place around Merewa Secondary School, in Merewa Tabia, Raya Alamata. The reported target was a unit of the Tigray forces known as “Army 26”, which was said to be stationed in the area. The report states that up to four drone strikes were carried out.

⚠️ At this stage, it is unclear how many people, if any, were killed or injured. There is also no detailed information yet regarding casualties among either civilians or armed personnel.

🛸 Following the strikes, a drone was reportedly observed continuing to fly and circle over the area.

🏛️ So far, neither the Ethiopian Federal Government nor the Tigray Regional Government has issued an official statement regarding the reported strikes or any casualties or damage resulting from them.
