After more than a year of calm, the LRA has re-opened attacks in South Sudan’s Western Equatoria province.

Multiple sources in South Sudan are reporting the occurrence of two LRA attacks between the 5th and the 7th.

The first attack occurred near Tamboura on 5 November at a village called Nabaria.

They attacked and killed one individual and captured multiple people who were later released on the 5th.

Additional reports indicate that in Ezo the LRA again attacked a church area in the diocese of Ezo between 12-2am on 7 November. Here they killed one individual and abducted an unknown amount of people. This took place 1.5 miles from the Bishop in Ezo’s house.
