This is with a group of friends. I joined them a few years ago, but some have been walking together for decades. In case you don’t know, the King owns all the swans in England and Wales. At least in theory!

Thanks, Martin! I was to Windsor twice. First was on a business trip. We stayed next to the Thames, could watch the swans a-swimming. Took a boat trip on the River. Our Welsh friends came down for a visit, photos attached. The other time again on business, when I had a heart attack in ’96, rushing at Heathrow Airport. They wheeled me off the plane and spent a week in Ashford Hospital.  Then BA would not allow me to fly for two weeks, so I was put up at the Windsor Hotel, and my company flew Darleen over to be with me. We got out and walked about — Windsor being quite hilly, was in fact risky… but I felt fine. We engaged a taxi to show us around — the driver was once a disciplinarian at Eton, and he drove us around a courtyard area in the school. We visited an old estate opened to the public to cover costs. This was in July, not much A/C, including in the hotel. BA put us in 1st Class for the flight back to Philadelphia. John
