Britain is sweltering, but how much is it doing to counter climate change?

It’s hot. In London the temperature is 36 C and could be hotter tomorrow.

The current Conservative party leadership candidates have shown little interest in climate change. Indeed, some appear happy to roll back on the government’s pledges.

But it is worth pointing out that Britain has made real progress on cutting CO2 emissions and increasing its renewable energy use. More to do, but not negligible!
