As the people and government of Tigray, we are confronted with what we regard as an existential threat to our people. We are defending ourselves against the threat of annihilation. Other peoples and allied forces, who facing similar threats, have joined with the people and government of Tigray and are defending their communities and right to exist.
The Tigray Army and allied forces continue their operations on all fronts in accordance with their plans. The relevant authorities will release further information about military developments and the situation on the ground as it becomes available.
At the same time, the people of Tigray and other affected communities face ariel attacks, drone strikes and other forms of bombardment. We call on our people, including members of the diaspora, to continue supporting affected communities and humanitarian effors during this difficult period.
We also urge the public to exercise caution regarding reports circulating through traditional and social media. Information about an ongoing conflict is often incomplete, disputed or difficult to verify. Official updated from the relevant authorities will continue to be provided as circumstances allow.
Finally, we apologize for the recent interruption in the flow of information due to circumstances beyond our control. In future we will make every effort to provide necessary information and official statements to our people without interruption through our regular media outlets and available channels.
